Calling him a Marxist/socialist/communist is just funny fear mongering since they're still essentially taboo beliefs and aside from being a democrat he has not claimed to be any of these other things.

That's right up there with calling him a muslim or a terrorist. Or emphasizing "Hussein" to sway the ignorant.

Now if the republicans and capitalists hadn't done such a terrible job I could see the problem with Barack and his leftist ways.

I never said "EVIL" capitalist, I'm closer to a capitalist than a Marxist. I'm just saying that the system that is currently in place has been proven faulty yet someone who represents a new way of thinking (apparently. They all end up the same in the end) gets called every name that would frighten "middle America" why are they afraid of Obama?

I don't have more than a shallow perspective of American politics. I just see the spin from the O'Reileys and the Coulters and I see hope in someone new.

Plus the idea of McCain/Palin scared the crap out of me.

lol i saw some picture online and it had a pic of mccain and obama like forever ago, and mccain was wearing his army stuff, and the pic of obama was a pic of him that made him look like a terrorist at first glance and it said, "is your head up you ass?!"
